When "playing" with a Ouija board there rules which should be followed! There are many different opinions on how to play, and this article is not going to get into the different variations of how to play. This article will only discuss the basics of playing with a Ouija board.

The Ouija board should never be played alone, with only one person at a time using it. There should always be more than one person "playing" with it, in order for there to be a conversation between as many people as possible who are sitting around the board.

The rules are as follows:

1. One player must move the planchette alone while the players on either side of that player watch and assist by using their fingers to keep it from moving too far in any given direction.

2. For a question to be answered, participants ask the board yes or no questions until some responses are given. The response "yes" is often indicated by a sharp movement of the planchette; "no" is often indicated by a more gradual movement of the planchette.

3. If the planchette is moved too far to either right or left, the player must start over by asking another question.

4. No matter what the answer is, a participant should not ask any questions after that point. It's important to give the others time to discuss it and get answers from them before you ask any new questions.

Like other items used in magic and witchcraft, there are different ways of using a Ouija Board or Tarot Cards. The most common way is to just ask questions aloud. It is recommended to use the Ouija Board with at least two people. The board can also be used to answer questions about the future, such as birthday information and what will happen sometimes in the near future. The Ouija Board can also be used for divination (reading tarot cards), fortune telling, and mediumship (communing with spirits). It is important that you do not try to contact a negative entity while using a Ouija Board.

When using a Ouija Board, keep it in a safe place, such as in a box. Do not use the Ouija Board when you are alone. For protection, light candles and burn incense. One person should hold the planchette (Ouija Board), while the other person asks questions. Try to ask yes or no questions and DO NOT try to contact spirits that you do not know or do not have permission from their family members to talk with them. When beginning to use the Ouija Board, ask for protection from any negative entities that may be around you. Be sure to thank any entities that may be around you after they have helped you with your questions or problems.

How to set up a Ouija board:

- Find a flat surface (like a table) and draw the letters of the alphabet on it. (Not necessary, but it helps if you want to talk directly with the spirit)

- Have your opening questions prepared so you can ask when you need them.

- Ask if they have permission to contact you, and if so, allow them to take control of your body and move your hands over the board.

It is also important to remember never to move it or to get scared while using it. Spirits will be attracted to the fear. If you are not sure what they want or if they don’t have a message for you yet, don’t say anything at all. Just listen and let them know you are not going anywhere.
